Had a great time at this hostel. The host was really helpful and organized a taxi for us from the airport. The rooms were cleaned daily and the hostel had a great location, close to the center and the beach. The rooftop had an incredible view and it was a nice place to hang out.
The lack of a mirror in the dorm area. Everything else was great.

The people I met here were the absolute best. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were all old friends. Plus, the location was perfect. Just a short walk to the town center and the beautiful Atlantic views from the rooftop terrace were breathtaking. I also loved how the owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was always there to offer great recommendations and even joined us on activities to make sure we had the best time.
That the hostel was a bit tricky to find at first. Since there are no addresses in the area, I had to ask a few locals for directions.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was incredible and the owner, Mohamed, was the best host we could have asked for. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home and helped us with everything we needed. The dorm rooms were comfortable and clean, and the terrace with the pool table was a great spot to hang out. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the street noise at night and the lack of an official reception, our overall experience at Golven Surf was excellent. I highly recommend this hostel for a fantastic stay in Taghazout.

From teaching us how to make traditional Moroccan meals to organizing transportation and taking us on a BBQ adventure, he truly made us feel like family. The hostel itself is in a prime location with stunning ocean views and a rooftop terrace complete with a pool table. The rooms were clean and the breakfast served daily was delicious. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel like a friend from the moment I arrived. They took care of everything and made sure I never felt lonely, even though I was traveling alone. The cleanliness of the lodge was impeccable, and the rooftop terrace was a great spot to relax. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the town.
The hostel location was a bit difficult to find as there wasn't much signage, but the nearby laundry was very helpful in directing us. There was also a slight issue with the front door key being sticky, which took some getting used to.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
